It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duncan Alexander MacGregor (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 10, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence MacGregor and Lillian MacGregor (Ward); his sister Sheila Johnston; his granddaughter Mallory Cruikshank; and his sister-in-law Yvonne MacGregor.
He is survived by: his wife Emily (Feit); his children, Lillie Cruikshank (Dana), Sheri Osgood (Steve), Ann-Louise MacGregor (Jason Brushett) and Jamie MacGregor (Amber); his grandchildren, Karli Hamilton (Andrew), Courtney Cruikshank, Cameron, Dale Osgood, Grace, Renee Brushett, Mya and Rowan MacGregor; his great grandchild Thomas Hamilton; his siblings, Jim MacGregor, Glenn MacGregor (Holly) and Janet MacKenzie (Barry); and his brother-in-law Grant Johnston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the H. W. Angus Funeral Home (256 King St, New Glasgow, NS B2H4X8). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Presbyterian Church, McLennan's Mountain, a charity of your choice, or by performing a random act of kindness in Sandy's memory.
