He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles R. Mills and Clare M. Mills; his former life partner Shirley A. Mills; and his siblings, Marjorie, William, Lyle, Ellison, Jean Jones (Smith), John Smith and Russell Smith.
He is survived by : his wife Ann Mills (Smith); his children, Wendy Gallagher, Barbara Mills, Belinda Pettipas, Dan Mills (Laura), Paul Mills, Peter Mills and Stephen Hills; his sisters, Daisy Campbell and Elaine Shanks; his sisters-in-law, Marie Smith (Cecile Adams), Jean Mills and Ruth Mills; and his brother Evan Mills (Helen). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart Foundation.
