She was predeceased by : her mother Janet "Jennie" MacKinnon (MacDonald); her sister Sara MacKinnon; and her brothers-in-law, Alan Cogan, Bill Byrne and Matt Marshall.

She is survived by : her sisters, Cecilia Cogan and Theresa Byrne; and her father Colin F. MacKinnon (Lismore).
