She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy MacDonald of Doctors Brook and Margaret "Peggy" (Poirier) of Glace Bay; her daughter Janet Boardway; her grandson Trevor Boardway (Nikki); her great grandchild Bauer MacIsaac; and her brothers, Philip, Jeff, Allan, Dennis and Russell.
She is survived by: her husband Ivan; her children, Philip (Karen Stewart), Karen (John Green), Ruth Ann (Kenny Chisholm) and Lourdes; her son-in-law Bob Boardway; her siblings, Bert and Eileen; her grandchildren, Nicole Evanson (Sam), Sackville, Chelsea (Kyle), Greg, Brianna MacIsaac (Kevin), Colton Green, Owen, Emmett, Lourdes, Mallory, Alice Evanson, Leland, Waverly MacIsaac, Brooklyn and Michigan; and her sisters-in-law, Linda, Kathleen and Wanda.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5).
