It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence McKearney (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 29, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Joseph and Mary Jeanette Surette (MacKinnon); and her aunts and uncles, Marie Surette, Florence Thomas, Fred Smith, Nelson LeBlanc, Alfred J., Georgie, Donald and Charlie Surette.

She is survived by : her husband James Edward "Ed" McKearney; her daughter Jolene Russell (Aaron); her granddaughter Lila Russell; her brother Leo Charles Surette; her nephew Justin Surette; and her aunts, Betty Smith and Mary Anne "Anna" LeBlanc.
