George Stanley Coady Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Stanley Coady (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph "Jack" and Edith May Coady (Stallard); his parents-in-law, Doris and Frank Dwyer; his siblings, Margaret Michaud, John "Peewee", Robert and James Coady; and his siblings-in-law, Delbert Michaud, Gerry Jamieson, Calvin MacDonald, James Stewart, Leo Pettipas, Pauline and Debbie Coady.

He is survived by: his pets, Mason, Jax and Benny; his wife Sheila Marie Coady (Dwyer); his son George "Geordy" (Andrea); his grandchildren, Karlie, Kendall Rogers, Andrew, Brittany, Cory and Bradley MacKenzie; his siblings, William, Gary (Doreen), Ranny (Velvet), Tommy (Louise), Ross (Cathy), Elsie MacDonald, Mary MacDonald (Johnny) and Helen Chapman (Jackie); his grandchildren, Cliff, Corrine Brow and Pearl Priest (Raymond); his siblings-in-law, Joanna Coady, Marina Coady, Teresa MacKenzie (Gary), Caroline Pettipas, John Dwyer (Sandra), Milton Stewart (Elsie) and David Dwyer (Gail); and also, Angie, Kent Rogers, Skyler, Kaylee and Paisley Coady. He is also survived by many many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Saturday in the H. W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family funeral service will be held in the H. W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gail Johnson Murdock officiating.
