He was predeceased by: his parents, David Paris and Nina Paris (Jackson); his daughter Diana Paris; his siblings, Patience, Edna, Ella, Nina (Nettie), Romie, Clyde and Thomas (Din); and his grandson Tyler Paris.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Paris (Paris); his sons, Ron Paris (Grace) and Paul Paris (Kelly); his brothers, Alex, Albert and Jerome; his granddaughters, Emily MacDougall (Brad), Beth MacKenzie (Mitch) and Toni Jean Saumur; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Brock MacDougall, Ava, Emma MacKenzie, Savanna Sorbie and Dawson Saumur.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Second United Baptist Church (330 Washington St, New Glasgow, NS B2H3M1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Second United Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
