Janel Elizabeth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Judge Welsford Gordon and Elizabeth Florence "Betty" Phillips (Woods); her husband Bub Gero; her parents-in-law, Esther Laurena Gero and Norman Joseph Gero; and her sisters-in-law, Stephanie Phillips and Verna Burgess.
She is survived by: her brothers, Douglas Burgess (Cristal Schofield), Little Harbour and Peter Phillips (Linda); her sisters-in-law, Barbara Agadzie, Faye Gero, Norma Gero, Scarborough and Laurena Parris; her sister Debbie Barron; and her nieces and nephews, Greg Burgess (Cathy Ashley), Kenny Burgess (Cindy-Lou Freeman), Angela Burke (Gerard), Mark Phillips (Jennifer), George Agadzi, Charity Agadzi, Prince Morris, Jennifer Akins, Lena Cromwell-Gero and Kimberly Parris.
