It is with sadness that the passing of Jimmy Wilkinson (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia) is shared. Jimmy, born on February 27, 1943, passed away on September 22, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jimmy Wilkinson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Billy" Wilkinson and Margaret "Middy" Wilkinson (Fraser); his brother Peter; and his siblings-in-law, Maureen and Chipman Reid.
He is survived by: his grandson Johnny; his daughters, Janet (Darcy), Cathy, Broadway and Britny (Kelsea); his grandchildren, Kayla, Marley (Brady) and Dawson; his siblings, Betty Reid (Trenton), Margaret DeYoung (George), Plymouth, Marion Miller (Michigan) and Frank (Broadway); and his sister-in-law Sharon (Plymouth). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins; many cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the P & K MacDonald Funeral Home (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church (4735 Shore Rd, Merigomish, NS B0K1G0).
