He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Judy Murray and Irwin Sexton; and his sisters, Sarah Patterson (Byron), Priscilla Fraser (Michael), Rebecca Sexton (Long) and Monica Sexton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the H. W. Angus Funeral Home (256 King St, New Glasgow, NS B2H4X8). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made in Joel's memory to the ICU at Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
