It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ronald Wilkinson (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 26, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Murdock Wilkinson; his stepfather Jennings Carter; his mother Agnes Elizabeth Wilkinson Carter (MacDonald); and his sister Helen Butler (Wilkinson). He is survived by: his wife Linda Wilkinson (Cahoon); his siblings, George Wilkinson (Judy), Bryan Carter (Angie) and Jean Weiss (Mike); his brother-in-law Charles Butler; his children, Lisa (Wilkinson) and Tracey Wilkinson (David); and his grandchildren, Emily MacEachern, Danielle MacEachern, Vaughn MacEachern, Hailey Morgan, Chase Morgan, Jordan Morgan, Tess Morgan, Gabriel Morgan, Jacob Wilkinson and Riley Wilkinson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the P & K MacDonald Funeral Home Limited Chapel (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:45 AM and from 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM at the P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:10 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (491 High St, New Glasgow, NS B2H2X9).
