He was predeceased by: his parents, Regionald O'Hara and Anna Mae O'Hara; his wife Theresa O'Hara (Cameron); and his children, Patricia, Bill and Glen.

He is survived by: his children, Edna, Sheila (Dartmouth), Sonny (New Glasgow) and Nelson (Oshawa); and his grandchildren, Tonya, Shawn, Danielle, Michelle, Melissa, Jennifer, Crystal and Katie. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
