He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Lester and Hazel Pettipas (Davidson); and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Louella Jean "Lou" (Misner); his children, Jean Ann Pitts, Lewis H. Pitts (Mary Pearl Walsh), Hillside, Mark A. Pitts (Sandy) and Chance Harbour; his granddaughter Kelsey Snyder; and his sister Doris Denny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
