She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Benvie Mitchell (Bob); her parents, Nelson Wilson and Georgina Wilson (MacLeod); and her sisters, Kathryn Wilson, Ferna Huggan (Murray) and Velma MacDonald (Johnnie Governor).
She is survived by: her daughter Gayle Sobey (John Robert); her grandchildren, Christine Idy (Joe), Kirsten Lacasse (Dan), Christopher Sobey (Colleen), Jana Sobey (Ryan Skelton) and Lindsay McGee (Jared); and her brother Nelson Wilson (Rene). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
