She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cowan and Mary Katherine MacLeod (Hayden); and her brothers, Jimmy MacLeod (Ann) and Phil MacLeod. She is survived by: her sons, Troy and Kevin Battist; her grandchildren, Tyler, Kyra, Cole, MaKayla and Brody; her great grandchildren, Nash and Naomi; her siblings, Bert MacLeod (Sheila) and Evelyn Dunn (Danny); and her sister-in-law Ann.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Durham Community Hall.
