In the sacred silence of farewell, Marilyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marilyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sisters, Janet (Bruce Ervin), Barb (Dave Conrad) and Colleen (Glenn Moser); her sons, Jeff (Lori) and Jamie (Rebecca); and her friends, Connor, Liam, Molly and Max.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5).
