She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin MacDonald and Jeannine MacDonald; and her stepfather Glen Wagner. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Joseph Cox; her children, Christopher Cluney, Renous, Christine Cluney and Hamilton; her grandchildren, Ryan, Sloane Gahagan and Hamilton; and her siblings, Alison MacDonald, Keith MacDonald (Mary Fennell) and Carolyn Francis (Stephen Deveau).
