With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Mae Turple (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), born in Pictou, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Kipling MacKenzie; her husband Hugh Thomas Turple; and her siblings, Ann MacKay, Agnes Fraser, Catherine Brown, Pearl MacIsaac, Lonnie MacKenzie, John MacDougall and George "Kay" MacKenzie.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene MacDonald (Clarence) of Oromocto, N. B., Michael Turple, Lester Turple (Belinda), Diane Meagher (Daniel) and Cape Breton; her grandchildren, Alex (Jessica), Edward, Emily (Brian), Kristen and Bradley; her great grandchildren, Breeanna, Parker, Haley and Leah; her sister Florence Blair (Arnold); and her siblings-in-law, June Brown and Angus MacIsaac. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Muriel Turple can be made to the Pictou County Food Bank or Aberdeen Health Foundation Palliative Care Endowment.
