Peter Lawton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Lawton (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), born in Bradford, South West, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lawton and Alice Hanna Lawton (Woodend); his brother David Lawton; his brother-in-law Donald Clough; and his niece Sheryl Clough.
He is survived by : his wife Jean Margaret Lawton (Chadwick); his children, Susan Margaret Peckham, Stuart Mark Lawton and Stephen John Lawton (Glenda Gaudet); his granddaughters, Kathy, April, Amanda and Jenny; his great grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Peter, Keith, Haley, Kyle, Bailee, Shelby, Klea and Mea; his sister Patricia Clough; and his sister-in-law Georgina Lawton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
If desired, donations may be made in memory of Peter to the Pictou County SPCA or St. Georges Anglican Church.
