With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roderick Flavin (New Glasgow, Nova Scotia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roderick left this world on April 4, 2026 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Flavin and Mabel Flavin (Hudson); his significant other Elizabeth "Betty" Flavin (MacLean); his siblings, Gerald, Charlie, Francis, Lorne, Mary, Millie, Maria and Jean; and his siblings-in-law, Joe, Jack, Ducky, Harvey, Sonny, Leo, Donald, Gerald, Ken, Isabelle, Marion, Kaye, Beverly and Lottie.
He is survived by: his sons, David (Lana) and Roddie; his sister Irene MacDonald of Barrie, ON; his brothers-in-law, Bob MacLean of New Glasgow and Aubrey Duprey of Scotsburn; his granddaughters, Emily and Isabelle; his stepgrandson Vitalii; and his great grandchildren, Ivan and Dasha. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of his family.
