She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah O'Connor and Annie (O'Conor); her husband Donald Fraser Brightman; her children, Carol Gillis, Connie Frazee and Derick Brightman; her siblings, Louise MacKenzie, Kathleen Trefry, Molly Cyr, Lillian Shaw, Charles, Philip, Cyril and Jerry O'Connor; and her brothers-in-law, John Visser, Gary Arthur Shaw, Barry MacDougall and Raymond Gillis.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Brightman (Sam), Darlene MacDougall, New Glasgow, Reggie Brightman (Debbie) and Little Harbour; her siblings, Faye Visser-Booth (Reg) and Hughie Cameron (Barb); her son-in-law Steven Frazee; and her grandchildren, Barry Brightman, George Gillis, Tara Gillis, Chad Gillis, Tony MacDougall, Ian MacDougall, Melanie MacDougall, Micheal MacDougall, Sara Roussy, Melanie Roussy, Justin Roussy, Mathew Roussy, Mark Roussy, Sandy Frazee, Jeffery Teague, Connor Brightman and Carter Brightman. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
