He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith John and Shirley Helen Snell (Purvis); his siblings, Valerie Bailey and Neil Snell; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Hazel Sarson (Earle).
He is survived by: his wife Crystal (Sarson); his siblings, Cathy Arbuckle (Lionel), Virginia Crawford (James), Foxbrook, Dena Green (Russell), Betty Patterson (Ricky), Paula Morgan (Tim), Trenton and Jacki Bailey; his sisters-in-law, Susan Snell, Walkerville, Kim Rogers (Lorne), New Glasgow, Stacey MacLeod (David) and Plymouth; his aunt Betty Purvis (Walkerville); and his uncles, Graham Purvis, Wilbur "Moon" Purvis, Springville and Roy Purvis (June). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the P & K MacDonald Funeral Home (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:40 PM at the P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home Chapel (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3). A committal service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:25 PM at the Springville Cemetery (129 Springville Rd, Hopewell, NS B0K1C0).
