He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Colin, Sammy and Sylvia Bowden; his mother-in-law Diane Stewart; and his sister-in-law Anita McIntyre.
He is survived by: his parents, Bill Bowden and Sally Atwell; his wife Sandi Nicole Atwell (New Glasgow); his children, Kennedi Nicole Atwell (Matthew Munroe), Christopher Tyson Atwell (Haley Bernard) and Kennedy Arsenault (Trenton); his grandchildren, Drew Francis, Claire Atwell and Orion Atwell; his brother Bill Bowden (Lezah Acibar); his sibling's children, Alana and Amari; his grandmother Daisy Mae MacLean; his fathers-in-law, Everett Smith and Sandy Lumsden (Jeanie); and his siblings-in-law, Susan McIntyre (Sylvester), Lee McIntyer (Donna), Christopher "Sexy Pants" Lumsden New Glasgow and Michael Lumsden (Katie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the P & K MacDonald Funeral Home (536 Merigomish Rd, New Glasgow, NS B2H5E3).
