She is survived by: her children, Gaile MacDougall (Scott), Douglas, Karen Sprigg (Al), Colin (Holly), Mary Jamieson (Jerry), Arlene Ignaczewski (Stephen), Janice Meaney and Clare Kerr (Darren); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Michael, Kristofer, Lyndsay, Daniel, Ashley, Kimberly, Jack, Jared, Brynn, Trent, Chance, Kennedy, Denver, Cameron and Chloe; her great grandchildren, Max, Raelle, Isla, Maeve and Kipp; and her siblings, Margie MacNeil (Jim), Betty Petter (Bill), Eleanor Hilchie, Joyce MacIntyre (Rod), Jim (Vickie) and Murray (Kathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home (55 Almont Ave, New Glasgow, NS B2H3G5). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (208 MacLean St, New Glasgow, NS B2H4M9).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Vivian's memory may be made to a charity of choice.
