He is survived by : his wife Cavell (Joudrey); his children, Valerie Bowes (Danny) of Ladysmith, BC, Bill (Claire) of New Glasgow, NS, Cindy Minion (Randy) of Iowa City, IA and John (Darlene Delaney) of Ottawa, ON; his grandchild Ashley Bowes (Andrew Rambold) of Victoria, BC; his children, Daniel Bowes of Courtenay, BC, Kathleen Bowes of Victoria, BC, Matthew McKay (Christina Cleroux) of Halifax, NS, Kelsey McKay (Adrian Carty) of Halifax, NS, Kelly Minion (Alanna Durand) of Kingston, NS, Sarah Minion of Phoenix, AZ, Hannah Minion (Austin Swank) of Phoenix, AZ and Liam McKay of Ottawa, ON; his great grandchildren, Tori (Kathleen) and Isabelle (Kelly); and his brother George New Glasgow (Joan).
