He is survived by: his father-in-law David; his wife Carol; his daughter Jeniffer Hilling (David); his grandchildren, Ashley Pettipas (Travis) and Adam Hilling (Maggie MacLean); his great grandchild Rosemary Pettipas; his siblings, Vernon Shaffner (Dianne) and Linda Shaffner; and his nieces and nephews, Sherry, Karen, Pamela, Terry, Peter, Richard, Jonathan and Matthew.
