It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria Jean Yorke of New Minas, Nova Scotia, born in Berwick, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 11, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Doherty and Thelma Doherty (Franke); her husband Gerald; her close friend Elmer; and her brothers-in-law, George, Robert and Richard.

She is survived by : her children, Wanda MacDonald (Briant), Black Rock and Donald Yorke (Sylvia); her sisters, Sylvia Hamilton (Art) and Juanita Deveau (Allen); and her sister-in-law Freda (John Aker). She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, there will unfortunately not be a reception held.
