It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvyn Douglas Currie (New Minas, Nova Scotia), born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 10, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Kenneth Alexander and Edith Jean Currie (Mills); his children, Leyla Caldwell (Allan) of Lawrencetown and Duane Currie of New Minas; his siblings, Merelyn Currie of Halifax and Brian Currie (Lida) of Moncton; his grandchildren, Shane, Megan, Scott and Shelby; his sister-in-law Brenda Ross; his nieces and nephews, Amanda Arsenault (Ron), Jamie Currie, Tammy Hawkes and Jason Hawkes; his great-niece Amy Campbell; his friends, Tom and Marley; and his wife Joan (Nemeth).
