Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Squires and Bessie Squires (Ford); and his brother William Squires. He is survived by: his wife Elaine (Pretty); his children, Susan Squires (New Minas) and Stephen (Wanda); his grandsons, Gregory Squires and Jared Squires; and his sister-in-law Dr. Grace Pretty (Paul Bramston).
