She was predeceased by : her parents, Jennie Stirling (Tamplin) and Alexander Robert Stirling of Greenwich, NS.; her brothers, James "J. D." (Freda), Robert (Faye), Harold (Sarah "Marie"), Thomas "David" (Barbara) and Albert "Ralph" Stirling (Kathleen "Kay"); and her brother-in-law Stewart Bishop (Connie).

She is survived by : her husband Avard Newcombe Bishop; her sister Lilla "Maryann" Cogswell (Clinton); her siblings-in-law, Garth Bishop (Madeline), Kay Stirling and Connie Bishop; her children, Andrew (Beth Patillo), Randall (Sandra), Jennie Bustin (Gary) and Lilla Hall (David); and her grandchildren, Patricia (Josh Oulton), Carolyn Cameron (Bill), Jillian (Dwaine Kinglocke), Alison Lamb (Darrel Ingram), David Lamb (Machaela), Haley, Alexandra (Amrit Richardson), Elizabeth (Ira Henderson), Alasdair (Stephanie Clark), Victoria, John Bustin (Wendy Fraser), Ian Bustin (Sarah Padovani), Katharine Hall, Timothy Hall (Michelle Glab) and Dorothy Hall (Nate Howlett).
