With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alexander McNeil (New Waterford, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex McNeil and Jean McNeil (Wadden); his fathers-in-law, Alfred and Bobby MacLean (Corbett); his siblings-in-law, Freddy, Bernie, Bug, Yacky, Puggy, Sheila, Ag Mary MacLean and Bobby Jordan; and his uncle Gordie Wadden.
He is survived by: his significant other Sharon McNeil; his children, Allen McNeil (Karen), Ann McNeil (James Marr), Kyle McNeil (Ashley Robertson) and Nikki McNeil (Billy Sampson); his grandchild DJ Syms (Trisha); his great grandchildren, Brandon (Gabby), Garrett (Dana) and Jennah (Jordan); his siblings, Mike, Billy, Marilyn Jordan and Debby Coish (Eddy); his siblings-in-law, Crow MacLean (Donna), Lynda Syms (David), Dale MacLean, Skinny MacLean, Joann MacLean, Susie MacLean, Diane MacLean, Myrtle MacLean, Lynda MacLean and Annie Dupe; his grandchildren, Shelby Jewer (Kyle), Logan Jewer (Haley), Brooklyn McNeil (Alex), Jack McNeil, Kylie Sampson, Lucy Syms, Kayden MacGillivray and Wyatt McNeil; his close friends, Tommy and Margie Wilson; his friends, Jonna and Les Gillis; his niece Julie MacLean; and his pets, Callie and Louie. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
