She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert O'Quinn and Pauline O'Quinn (Halnuck); and her sister Bonnie France. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Parsons (Val), Ken Parsons (Amanda) and Glen Parsons (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Stefanie (Colton), Jennifer, Renee, Samuel and Samantha; her great grandchild Freddie; her siblings, Sue Boudreau (Basil), Linda O'Quinn (Scott), Doris O'Quinn (Suzy), Marilyn O'Quinn (Alwyn) and Michael Poirier (Cindy); and her close friends, Dolly and Diane. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and a large circle of extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Parish Church of St. Leonard, Mount Carme (3180 Mt Carmel Ave, New Waterford, NS B1H4E4). A reception was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (3236 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, NS B1H4T1).
