She is survived by: her children, Melinda Burke (Earl), Kim Parr, Johnny Parr (Rachel Lucas) and Deckland MacNeil; her nephew Russell Bennett; her niece Valarie Muise (JB Lamey); her sisters-in-law, Rhodina Burke and Darlene Boyd; and her son-in-law Alan Griffiths. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, neighbours, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLellan Funeral Home (3188 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, NS B1H4K4). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (3236 Plummer Ave, New Waterford, NS B1H4T1).
