He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Red" MacPherson and Winnifred "Winnie" Brushett; his wife Cynthia (MacKay); his brother Donald "Danny"; his mother-in-law Catherine MacKay; and his brother-in-law Eddy MacLean.
He is survived by: his children, Redmond and Erica (Darrell); his sisters, Doreen Rankin (Bernie) and Cheryl MacLean; and his grandchildren, Ember and Emmett. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the local food bank in memory of Jake and Cynthia.
