It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Steffens of New Waterford, Nova Scotia, born in Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Steffens and Cleophas Steffens (Serroul); his siblings, Marion Godin, Mary Sparkes, Herbert Steffens Jr. and Russell Steffens; and his brothers-in-law, Melvin Sparkes, Junior Ferguson and Dave Barry.
He is survived by : his children, John (Nancy) and Mary Steffens (North Sydney); the mother of his children Ruth; his close friend Judy Jessome; his siblings, Theresa, Dorothy Barry, Isabel Ferguson, Brian and Barry Steffens (Roxanne); and his sister-in-law Isabel Steffens.
