Michael Ronald Barkhouse Obituary

We bid farewell to Michael Ronald Barkhouse (Newport, Nova Scotia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2026 at the age of 66. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Barkhouse and Joan Barkhouse (Peach); his grandparents, Harry, Florence Barkhouse (Thomas), Austin and Lottie Peach (Wile); his brothers, Terry Barkhouse and Danny Barkhouse; his parents-in-law, Ralph Harvey and Dorothy Harvey (Aker); and his close friend David Wood.

He is survived by: his wife Lisa (Harvey); his children, Shane Barkhouse (Heather) and Shannon Dearman (Brian); his grandchildren, Lincoln, Sophie Barkhouse, Cayson and Adele Dearman; his siblings, Murray Barkhouse (Atasha) and Jennifer DeWolfe (Clyde); his sisters-in-law, Sharon Barkhouse and Annette Barkhouse; and his caregiver Vicki Guy. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of extended family.
