He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hinds and Myrtle Hinds (Naugler); his brothers, Lawrence Hinds and Arnold Hinds; his wife Sylvia; and his brothers-in-law, Merle Criece and Chris Mullin.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marion Criece of Carrying Place, ON and Linda Mullin (Douglas Robishaw) of Brickton, NS; his nieces and nephews, Kim Reynolds (Al), Earl Criece, Angela Allison (Michael), Pauline Keddy (Junior) and Carl Mullin; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler Reynolds, Hunter Allison, Porsche Reynolds, Cole Allison and Shelby Benjamin.
