Sherman LeRoy MacLean Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherman LeRoy MacLean of Nictaux, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 14, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald MacLean and Helena MacLean (Armstrong); and his former wife Virginia MacLean (Durant). He is survived by: his wife Barbara MacLean (Lohnes); his sons, Scott MacLean (Deanna) of Kentville, N. S., Dean MacLean (Ursula) of Victoria, B. C., Douglas MacLean (Sarah) and New Hampshire; his stepchildren, Steve Garnett (Dawn) and Debbie Garnett (Arizona); his grandsons, Collin, New Hampshire, Angus and Benjamin MacLean of Kentville, N. S.; his stepgrandchildren, Arizona, Ohio and Arizona; his great grandchild Jacqueline Josephine (New Hampshire); his brother Kenneth MacLean of Margaretsville, N. S.; and his siblings-in-law, Claude Lohnes and Ruth Farris of Berwick, N. S.. He is also survived by six great-nephews; and several step-nieces and step-nephews.
Donations in Sherman's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Valley Hospice Foundation, Kentville, where he received excellent care in his final days.
