He is survived by: his wife Marie (Parks); his children, Joseph "Joe" Nixon (Tami Cook) and Tina Lewis (Jason Landry); his grandchildren, Chanise Lewis (Will Dyer) and Colby Lewis (Kaylem Horsnell); and his great grandchild Jack Ryan.
