She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary McCorkill and Marjorie McCorkill; her husband Raymond Thompson; her brothers, Neil and Kevin; and her brother-in-law Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy, Brandon, Todd, Troy Matheson, Justin and Morgan Miller; her siblings, Sheila Ross, Brian McCorkill and Linda Killen (Fulton); her sister-in-law Sandra Mallard; and her nieces and nephews, Annette, Jamie, Tami, Jennifer, Scott and Jessica.
Memorial donations may be made to Nine Mile River Community Hall or Nine Mile River United Church.
