He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Margaret Stuart, Emanual and Julia Currie. He is survived by: his parents, James Currie and Marie Currie (Stuart); his brother Kevin James; his uncle Murray Atkinson; his cousin Anne; his aunts and uncles, Jean, Robert Hopkins, Leonard Stuart (Sandra), James Stuart (Donna), Joanne Seaboyer (Harold), Lilyanne Roache, Bonnie Williams (Harvey), Laurie Whynot (Larry) and Bill Williams; and also Larry Smith.

Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Special Olympics or a charity of choice.
