He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Charles Wickens and Edith Carlyle Smith; his wife Gladys; his siblings, Dorothy, Charles, Murray, Harris, Hartley and Arthur; and his close friend Mildred Blades.
He is survived by: his children, Fred, Edith (Babe), Deborah (Jim), Martha (Allan) and Barbara (Randy); his grandchildren, Mark, Quent, Ken, Peter, David, Thomas, Joseph, Beth, Jesse, James, Sarah, Ruth, John, Carolyn and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Abby, Nate, Jack, Harry, Ethan, Violet, Ajax, Duncan, Ryland, Charlotte, Thomas, Emma, Ryan, Samuel and Lucas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
