He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Sr. Simmonds and Mary Simmonds (Beals); his wife Alice (Smith); his sons, Cleary, Phillip Jr. and Derrick; his siblings, Pauletta, Beverley, Clemmie Sr. and Roger Sr.; his grandchildren, Fatima, Brianna and Ricky; and his grandparents, Eva, Thomas Beals, Isabella and Walter Simmonds.

He is survived by : his close friend Vivian Willis; his children, Stanley (Juanita), Michael, Terrell, Lisa, Randez and Kiara; and his siblings, Rosaline (Tony), Daisy (Michael), Theresa, Creanie (Bruce), Susan, Lorraine, Walter (Viola), Phillip, Leonard, Sinclair, Freeman and Christopher (Debbie). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and several godchildren.
