She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smith and Adret Smith (Downey); and her siblings, Cora, Blair, Michael and Carson.
She is survived by: her children, Ricardo (Janelle), Algeron, Tahirah and LeKiesha; her grandchildren, Raheem, Darian, Dante, Jayden and Aniyah; her great grandchild Raeylah; her nieces, Niara and Ta'Nyrah; her siblings, Adret (Leander) of Toronto, ON, Vernetta, Mary, Wendy, Donna of North Preston, Angel, Adell of Dartmouth, Jessie (Fredrick) of Cherrybrook, Raya (Will) of Fredericton, NB, Earl (Yvonne) of North Preston, Raymond (Josephine) of North Preston, Donald Jr. (Rhoda) of North Preston, Brian (Ruth) of North Preston, Wayne (Wilma) of North Preston, Conrad of North Preston, Andrew (Theresa), Peter of Toronto, ON and Jeffery (Cathy); her godchildren, Irene, Schannell, Roxanne, Odette, Nikita, Gendron and Corey; and her friends, Colette, Delores, Alexis, Mildred, Roberta, Carolyn and Alice.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Thomas Baptist Church (35 Simmonds Rd, North Preston, NS B2Z1A3). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
