She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Burns and Bernice Burns (Ball); her husband Gerald "Buddy" Devoe; her granddaughter Tara MacLean; her siblings, Clara Cooke (Gilbert), Helen Hardy (Harold), Alice Faye O'Shea, Edna Jane Burns, Franklin Burns (Sylvia) and Robert Burns; and her siblings-in-law, Leona Bryden (Owen), John and Archibald Devoe.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Devoe (Mary) and Bernice Osmond (Chris); her grandchildren, Emily Walsh (Nick), Christopher Osmond (Emily), Jeffrey Devoe (Georgina Hatcher) and Kate Devoe; her great grandchild Madelyn Grace; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis "Girlie" MacKinnon, Muriel Burns and Henry O'Shea. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
