He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick MacDonald and Mary Nicholson (Jardine); his wife Barbara; his sister Lennie Pardy; his stepsister Ronalda Bowne; and his stepmother Lorraine Nicholson.
He is survived by: his son Scott'Sandy'Nicholson; his sister Sally Popovich (Sydney Mines); and his stepsister Trudy Herrit (Florence). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Giles Presbyterian Church.
