We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2023, at the age of 98, Augustine Riou (North Sydney, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Francis and Margaret Mary Chisholm (MacNeil); and her sisters, Rita, Mae (Frank), Doreen and Mary.

She is survived by : her husband Joseph; her children, David, Elvis (Tammi), Dennis (Joan), Pierre (Theresa), Roger, Yvette Riou (Stephen) and Micheline Savard (Dan); her grandchildren, David Jr., Patricia, Devon, Mason, Jamie, Amanda, Heather and Madison; and her great grandchildren, Jasmine, Ashton, Jaxon, Callie, Chenelle, Clara, Gloria, Rylan, Kesley, Mabel and Henry.

Donations in Augustine's memory can be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of one's choice.
