She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredell Robinson and Ethel Robinson (Hatcher); her brothers, Danny, Leo, Fred, Alex, Clayton, Ronnie and Jackie; her parents-in-law, Florence (Donovan) and Angus Wilson; her sisters-in-law, Cathy Robinson (MacPherson) and Cathy Moses; and her niece Andrea (Jo-Jo).
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Shaw; her daughter April (Leonard) of Cheticamp; her grandchildren, Nathan (Dayna), Paige and Andrea; her daughter Kelly of Sydney Mines; her grandchildren, Ryan (MacKenzie), Hayleigh, Lucas, Aaden and Alex; her siblings, Walter, Joe (Diana), Naomi Boutilier (Lawrence) and Janie; her siblings-in-law, Marg Robinson, Carolyn Marple, Cheryl (Rich) and Greg (Patricia); her aunts, Elsie Apesteguy and Georgia Dowling; her uncle Alex Hatcher; her close friends, Laura Cranidage and Sandra Maher; her sister Bonnie; and her caregivers, Kathy Tanner and Ashley Jessome.
Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Centre at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
