He was predeceased by: his parents, Keltie Thomas and Naomi Thomas (Billard); his birth parents, Naomi Johnson and Jim Thomas; his sisters, Joan Parsons and Jane Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Sheree Poulos, Ronald Clancy and Liam MacDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Thomas (Myler); his daughter Lindsay Thomas (Kevin Hibma); his granddaughter Nadia Hibma; his siblings, Bill Thomas (Sandra), Marlene Clancy and Jean Parker (Norm); and his siblings-in-law, John Parsons, Brian Myler (Mary), Alexander Hoganson (Lisa), Peter Poulos, Brenda Henschel (Brian), Marilyn MacDonald, Gearlyn Tutty (Percy) and Eleanor Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and long-time friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the W. J. Dooley Funeral Service Ltd. (107 Pleasant St, North Sydney, NS B2A1L9).
He was very friendly and generous - he often helped strangers and donated to charity.
