Edna Whitty Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Whitty (North Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Ingonish Beach, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 3, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas Whitty; her siblings, Thomas Whitty, John Joseph Whitty and Leona Landry; her grandsons, Stephen Whitty and Lincoln LeBlanc; and her siblings' children, Allan Joseph Herridge and Wanda Royal.

She is survived by: her parent Rachel Whitty (Donovan); her children, Rachel MacDonald (John) of Sydney, Karen Bona (Norman) of Sydney, George Whitty (Amanda) of Sydney, Teddy Whitty and Sydney Mines; her sisters, Gertrude Whitty of North Sydney, Evangeline Hawley of North Sydney, Cecilia Farr (Donnie) of North Sydney, Barbara Herridge (Murdoch) of North Sydney, Eileen Hawley and Ingonish Beach; her sister-in-law Judy Whitty; and her aunt Bernie Whitty. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
